Nicely said, Rock.
Those 2 things are what’s standing between the Rams and a deep playoff or even SB run. I like that you included OL upgrade, not just a new C. Hav’s pass pro and Whit’s age are a couple of chinks in the armor. They can’t neglect the D, either. All other resources may have to go to that side.
As zn points out, those 2 positions that you specified have been well known for some time, but that pesky cap keeps getting in the way while Rams have addressed other issues.
It’s unfortunate that the Covid related cap reduction has occurred precisely as the Rams SB window is slightly opened, but it is what it is.
We’ll see what magic Demoff, Snead, and McVay can come up with this offseason. I sure wouldn’t bet against them.
As to those claiming anything less than a SB victory is a failure? C’mon...
There are a handful of legit SB candidates in the NFC alone that make quite a gauntlet just to GET there.
Bucs
Saints
Packers
Seahawks
49ers
Gotta love that the Rams are going for it at the very least. As someone already posted, it’s far more satisfying to swing away rather than staring at the pitch.
