If Wentz get traded for anything close to a first rounder, then the Lions got a steal in this trade.
If they traded Stafford to Indy for a first rounder, they wouldn't have a QB. If they wanted Goff, it probably would have cost them about what Wentz is gonna go for.
That means worst case, the Lions lose Stafford, get Indys first round pick this year. And then have to give up at least a second or maybe even a first for Goff.
As a result, the Lions swap Stafford for Goff and get very little compensation in the form of draft capital.
