About Alex Mack as a potential FA signing to become Rams C.
He’s 35 years old.
Has 11 years in the league already.
His final contract cap hit was $10.5M this year.
So, here’s my question. Is he still playing at or near his former ceiling? Like, is he a Big Whit type of older stud for the Rams? Not being a smart ass, I’m asking because I haven’t followed him.
if the answer to my last 2 questions is a resounding yes, then I’m fine if they pursue him. But if not, then I’m not even a little bit interested.
Too old.
Too much mileage.
Way too expensive for Rams budget.
