Don't put to much stock in senior bowl speed numbers. Cooper Kupp was also the fastest clocked player at his senior bowl north squad at 20.7 faster than mims also. Van Jefferson does not break away from tacklers he is a very precise route runner that can get open but he lacks YAC ability. Corners close on him like no tomorrow for some reason. We need a first down Van is the man just like woods and Kupp. He can be a good asset on goaline, redzone because he works very well in small spaces to create separation. He just doesn't seem to have the breakaway speed or long ball ability at this point. That could change but he hasn't really shown it in college or with his limited snaps in the pros.
