I think that he'd come significantly cheaper than, say...Marvin Jones who, although he's on the tail end of his career, could likely command more money (regardless of a Stafford discount). Most of the other younger WR's (like JuJu) will be looking to cash in on their 2nd contract.
The only other young player in a similar boat with Ross is Will Fuller who has similar injury issues.
3030 asked what Ross could bring to the table in LA that he wasn't able to in Cincy? I can't say that I know what type of role Taylor wanted him to play in Cincy. I can't even say that, with injuries and all, Taylor really had an opportunity to evaluate him. I think that McVay would limit Ross to 4-WR sets where he'd primarily go to the post to take the top off the defense. I know that McVay likes to keep his sets looking similar, but it's hard for me to see Ross beating out Jefferson to get a lot of reps outside of that. But it's not like we'd be married to the guy with a multi-year contract.
