They are literally choking themselves to avoid saying it. Everybody is kind of full of excuses: blaming the officiating, blaming the offensive play calling, or blaming injuries. Those are all of the things that the Great Quarterbacks overcome to carry their teams to victory by sheer will.
So, I ask: are all the strained faces because Patrick Mahomes sucks, or are they from the realization that our judgement of athletes (quarterbacks in this case) is shortsighted, inconsistent, and stupid?
