Goff did get going in the 2nd half of that game.
In that game though
* the team as a whole came out without energy against a determined opponent. The previous game they gave their all to crush the Patriots. They were flat against the Jets. It wasn't the first time in the season the Ram came out flat against an opponent they thought was weak.
* the OL got dominated by a tough Jets DL. I hated the games where that happened.
* the defense kept playing flat and gave up plays on mental errors and blown coverages. There were so many blown coverages that Orlovsky made a vid showcasing them. Lots of mental lapses in that game.
Losing to the Jets was a team effort.
It was the game that made me wonder if sometimes McVay teams just come out flat against what they see as lowly opponents.
