I heve been "defending" Goff forever, but even I can see Stafford's talent I just think that Giff and McVay should have shoildered the blame together and could have very well stayed together and proved the world wrong, but Goff was not drafted by McVay and that might contributed to his TERRIBLE handling of the situation. I believe Goff is very talented and can still grow a lot with the right leader to show him the way. Will always root for Goff, although my team is the Rams and will always come first no matter who calls plays, coaches or gets the snaps from center.
Having said all that I believe the best thing out of this trade, for me is that McVay can no longer blame anyone but himself, even if Stafford gets hurt or fumbles, after all he is a handpicked McVay guy
