Florida,

Do you think a coach can cause turnovers? They aren't throwing the ball or touching it. Are they ever responsible for turnovers or is it always the players only?

Can you coach ball security? Can a coach influence going for it on tight windows vs taking the safe checkdown?

Brady has had a lot of INTs this year going for long balls under Arians direction. I don't think many of these are really back breakers as a long INT to the 10 yard line ends up being better than a punt and still gives you a chance to score/get the 1st down.

Did McVay's play calling cause defenses to crowd the line in 6+1 and blitz from the ends a lot? All the wide sweeps and bunches causing defenses to stay close to the line giving them more opportunities to blitz and confuse instead of staying back or spread out.

Sounds to me from reading the Lions board that Stafford causes a lot of turnovers as well. Is that on him completely? Because of the team around him? Coaching? Always playing from behind?

Your questions are sincere but the reality is Goff was not up to par and McVay thankfully didn't wait another season.

Goff fumbled and had too many interceptions in 2019 - 2020.

I will give McVay some blame but Jared was a 5th year NFL quarterback. He was experienced enough to do things outside of McVay's box.

Goff had seen enough NFL defensive schemes to make decisions on his own regardless of McVay.

He was not the long term answer for the Rams and I would've made the trade for Stafford after 2019 if it was possible.

Stafford better step up to the plate but Goff was done after 2019 and he was given a second chance in 2020 and failed to deliver.

I could be wrong.. but this is ...
