That is the big reason the bad contracts don’t bug me at all. It’s the exact opposite of the LA days under Frontiere and Shaw. Those were bad contract (or non-existent contracts) that did right by Georgia’s pocketbook, not the players. That’s a bad message to send to players.
I think the Rams are sending the strongest possible message to players they can: We’ll pay you top dollar if you play like someone who plays like you’re paid.
I’m glad to be a fan of this team. It was a pain to be a fan back under the old regime.
