I think safety can be taken care of with the guys already on the roster: Fuller, Scott, Hughes, Reed, Burgess, Rapp, & Gervase. I think the Rams drafter Burgess and Fuller with the idea that they could get these guys a year on the team and absorb Johnson's departure.
Edge is a bit trickier.
I assume Floyd will leave via FA.
Can the Rams resign Ebukam, Patrick, Howard, and/or Rivers? If so, can any of them take the next step and contribute?!?
Can Hollins step into Floyd's spot and produce anything?
Can Obo take the next step?
Can Lewis stay healthy?
Are there any affordable FAs who want to sigh with the Rams and take advantage of the Donnald effect (ala Fowler & Floyd)?
Will the Rams snag a pass rush specialist in the draft?
Lots of questions: hopefully 2 of the 9 viable options pan out ...
