Just a slight angle on what you just said. I'm not sure DC have worked out how to consistently slow/stop McVay's offense. Yes they have found wrinkles that seemed to work like the 6-1 formation, but then McVay has also adapted to that.

What we really don't know is how much was Goff actually limiting this evolution. I remember reading snippets of comments from McVay and others during the season that started showing cracks between McVay and Goff. McVay was kind of saying the plays were there if the right choice was taken!

Could McVay improve his Scheme, definitely. I would like more of the chunk play shots from previous years (that he has now said he changed for his Q. Could he improve at call play awareness, like run the dam ball (in Miami !!) definitely. It's why I hoped they might add a true OC and he becomes more HC.

Or anything could be possible..... This is where I really wish I owned the Rams and then I'd know all the gossip!! or at least someone really connected to them.
