I think he plain out didn't know where the stick was. One thing about Jared is he always showed to me he would give himself up for a play. IMO it was just a case of making a mistake, not him trying to save his career contract. That was IMO always an issue with him, seeing the field was a problem. His thinking at times looked like he was lost, can't speak on what goes through a guys mind, he's the only one to do that, but hiding from a hit was not an issue IMO.
