I thought I heard that too this evening on NFLN. I think the guy's name was Pellisaro? Said that Detroit received an offer from a team that had a pick in the top-10 in this year's draft.
I believe that this is the difference between the Rams offer and others. I believe the other offers only yielded one 1st rounder. Because of Goff's contract, the Rams knew that they needed to add more sugar to sweeten the deal.
Plenty of commentators tonight mentioned that the extra 1st rounder to Detroit said more about Goff's contract than Stafford's value.
