they are open to talking about a deal.
I think we can all agree that given the current oline and Goff that we aren't winning any championships with the status quo. To win a championship you have to be able to beat Man 1 coverage on 3rd and 7+ under pressure. We can't do that. Brady can. Rodgers can. Mahomes can.
McVay and Snead are quite forward thinking to me. They have no problem dealing a player they invested capital in. I thought Goff played well versus the Pack. However Goff with our offensive tackles and Wrs is a losing offensive when you are talking about moving from the final eight to the the final four.
This isnt Kroenke. This is McVay and Snead realizing that winning a championship with Goff requires an extreme talent differential. Something that is very unlikely to happen.

Well, on one hand, if Goff goes to another team, we don't have to worry about him trying to figure out how to read/beat the 6-1 coverage anymore.
On the other hand, if he gets traded and somehow learns how to adjust and beat it, well, that wouldn't be good for Rams fans.
I still think there's more to it than that though. I still cant figure out if he has some seeing problems, David Carr syndrome/slow processor, or just flat out wore out from his girlfriend.
Something hasn't been right but Mcvay/Snead seem like they aren't waiting around to find out if he can fix it.
