Maybe this isn't about Snead or McVay. Maybe it's about Kroenke.

He's seen what Tom Brady has done for the Buccaneers, getting them not only a Super Bowl but a Super Bowl in their home stadium. He has sent out the edict....get us a quarterback to do the same thing.

Why else would Snead use the same language Rodgers was using?

I don’t get it? Goff out played Brady on national TV a couple months ago... I’m sure he saw that game

He also probably watched Tampa Bay’s defense bail out Brady three times in the second half of that NFC championship game when he kept throwing picks, 3 of them....

Biggest difference in the Rams and Bucs vs Packers in the playoffs was Tampa Bay’s defense shut down the run and sacked Rodgers five times.... Rams defense never even touched Rodgers and gave up almost 500 yards and 37 minutes in ToP

Tom Bradys’ don’t grow on trees, especially when you have no draft capital and your GM and HC just paid a QB $134M that they want to blame and then try to trade ..... good luck!

Obviously missing Donald was huge, but Goff isn’t the reason the Rams didn’t get to the next round in the playoffs....

What I'm saying is that this doesn't seem like Snead and McVay to me based on their past. Something is different. They kept Gurley completely in house. Same with Cooks. This seems to me like an owner saying "I'd love to host this Super Bowl with my own team in it, do what you have to do at quarterback to get us there." So you have Snead using Rodgers' exact words in a press conference. You have Ramsey posting about Watson. You have the Stafford dealings leaked. Basically a 180 from Gurley, right?

No. The obvious is the off-field is a bigger problem than on-field
