Neither McVay or Snead handled the Goff situation like professionals. They came across smug and arrogant (especially Snead). They may of asked Goff's agent to restructure his contract to make him more tradable and his agent told them to pound sound.
The Rams have 3 options with Goff: start him, bench him or trade him.
If I was Goff I would just keep quiet and let McVay and Snead continue to grandstand. Let the chips fall where they may.
Goff has the upper hand. The worse thing that can happen is that he rides the bench and gets paid millions of dollars to hold as clipboard for 1 year.
