Basically, the league doesn't see McVay as being deficient at all.

It's sometimes hard to know where the primary problem is. For me, I start with the knowledge that is most certain. For our team, it's that McVay is a good HC and widely seen as an offensive guru.

If that's true and he sours on the QB, then I have no reason not to trust his judgment.
