I didn’t see asst head coach either. Some speculated that based on his contract language it may have been easier for the Rams to reassign him to another position than fire him. LSU just had some similar moves with a few of their older coaches who are now senior advisors. I assume it’s a respect thing, a way to reduce pay while the coach is still under contract, or a combination of both.
