You raise a good point, Dynasty.
Namely, should Goff be getting all pissed off at McVay in the first place over a reference that all positions will be evaluated this offseason? Heck, doing so is SOP for all teams every offseason.
Sure, you skim over players that are balling and with no off field issues or crippling salaries. Future HOF’ers like AD and Ramsey get a pass, of course. But Goff ain’t within sniffing distance of such a category.

All these vets, and more, will be evaluated this offseason in terms of value and affordability. So, why not Goff? Especially after the year he just had?
