I'm more concerned about McVays view of Goff than anything
Let's face it, none of us really know what's going on.
We can speculate but we really don't know
On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is it between McVay and Goff?
Feels like an 8 to me but maybe it's a 2

My guess is it's a 4. Heck the Packers drafted a 1st rounder and that upset AR to no end. McVay has just put Goff on light notice at this point. It's such a big deal because we haven't seen that much from McVay in 4 years so it seems huge. If Arians did it, that would seem like a huge vote of confidence based on how he calls out players.
I can;t agree with any of that. Calling out players during the season and after a game is one thing. And McVay has done that--and he has done it with Goff. Publicly refusing to endorse your signed franchise qb after the season (and after a gutty playoff game by that qb)? I don't see how that accomplishes anything except to put the issue in the press for a few months. If McV doesnt know how to put a player on alert if he feels that;s needed WITHOUT making it a public spectacle, that;s on McVay. I thought him making it public was a symptom of immaturity and a possible sign that this is a guy who does not always control his emotions.
