You gotta be lucky with your roster shortfalls (guys working out) to where you aren't dealing with glaring weaknesses first off. Then you gotta be lucky with health which you just can't count on. You also gotta get some bounces going your way in the playoffs. And so on. So really what you want to do as an organization is make the playoffs every year and hope you get lucky and can take advantage.
Rams have a really, really good model. They're doing it. This is why we get poached btw other teams want all those things and tendencies McVay has that seem to work on top of the win/loss results where he excels.
