Besides not being mobile which can't be changed, his weakness is in the mental aspects of the game. Slow reads, slow through progressions, not always seeing the field well, questionable decision making. How do you fix that for a 5 year QB?
Not sure that can be fixed.
Well one way to fix it is to notice that that long list of presumed negatives is driven by hyperbole.
It;s either that or everything is worse than we thought, because what we would have then is a GM and head coach who extended a qb who is simply not qualified to be a pro.
So even if they decide they have to replace this imagined defecto-man, if they extended him in the first place, then, they are not very qualified to find a replacement--cause if this imagined defecto-man is who they extended, then, they don't know how to evaluate qbs. At all. In the least.
It is interesting to me though that this defecto-man they presumably have at qb was a strong performer today against what many rank as one of the league's 2-3 best secondaries---all while their defense was pressuring him at a very high level. He must not have done very well. Maybe there are actually more incompletions than I actually witnessed.
