He played better than I thought, but he still doesn't read the field well, go through progressions well, or handle/spot blitzes.
McVay's system covered up a lot of his warts early on, but the league has caught up to him and made adjustments to McVay's system. Goff has failed to improve and McVay can only do so much. And to top it off, Goff has lost some confidence in himself. Short of McVay being Remy from Ratatouille, I don't think there's anything left to do.
The Rams have to improve the QB. Unless you're the Patriots of the past two decades, NFL teams only get a few years to win a Super Bowl or two, and the Rams need to strike while the iron is hot.
If they can get Watson, do it.
If they make no attempt to improve at QB, I'm going to be really mad and...and...do bad stuff! Like put pineapple on someone's pizza. Unless they like that kind of thing. Then that's like a scarlet letter and punishment in itself.
P.S.
I HATE trying to post from my iPhone. I've tried to post this same message like five times from my phone and finally had to find my computer and write it AGAIN!!!
