Reports are that Goff has been practicing with a glove and Wolford has not been practicing on the field. Unless there is some great turn around by Wolford, Goff is starting this game (of course he may have been starting anyway).
I am a little concerned with the addition of a glove just prior to a Divisional Playoff game. We all know Kurt Warner ended up wearing a glove after having so many difficulties with his thumb. He ended up having a few more great years with the Cardinals. It provided grip and ball security during those years. My concern is, Warner had an off season to get use to the glove. Goff has 5 days. Of course, if Goff starts off good, there will be no questions about the glove, but if he has an early turnover, does he stay with the glove or return to bare handed.
Are there other examples of a qb having success with a glove in such a short time?
Does anyone else share my concern?
While I have great faith in our Defense, we are playing Aaron Rodgers. The Pack will score more than 10 points. We need our Offense to score at least 20-23 points to win.
