I think they have to play Goff. I do not think I have seen consistently some exceptional talent display of Wolford over Golf. If Wolford gets the start then it is the beginning of the end of the Goff era in my opinion. I do not a demoralized Goff being told he is a backup to an undrafter FA. This pass week that works but this week it will not work for me. He needs the reps and he needs to be sucessful. I would rather he be benched in the game if he is not able to execute plays the way he can. Goff has beaten Rogers head to head. I have not seen any signs that Wolford can.
