1) He doesn't want to talk about it... not one bit... I don't know that I have ever seen the tales he displays in this video
2) I get the sense that while he's not pissed Goff made the pain comments regarding his thumb in his press conference, McVay likely would have preferred he didn't
3) I think he's trying to make sure that it doesn't appear that he is benching Goff but rather this is in response is to Goff's ability to compete at a high level
4) I don't believe him 100% that it's about the injury and I think he sees it as an opportunity to expand the offense
Lastly, in hindsight I think you were absolutely correct in your previous post when you said Goff was trying to back McVay into a corner. I see it now.
