the last time Goff played against them that’s not what we got
not sure why you are convinced that’s what we will get this time
Here's 6 reasons why.
1. I think our D is playing their best ball right now, and they are at full strength.
-- They have a very good offense and we've been holding them to 20 points. It's tough to do better.2. I think its tough to beat the same team twice in 3 weeks.
-- Maybe true but not sure that matters though. Both of these teams are very familiar with one another and generally play each other close. I don't see an advantage for us just because they won recently.3. I think Goff benefited from sitting and watching for a game.
-- What benefit?4. I think Akers will be a big help, he didn't play last time.
-- Agree here. Hope Akers is healthy.5. I think Whitworth is a big help, Seahawks got a lot of pressure through Noteboom last game.
-- Agree here. Noteboom was adequate at LT but he's not Whit.6. I think Adams is hobbling and he was a big reason we lost last game.
-- Never count on a subpar performance from a star. Sometimes they do better when they're hobbling. He's a game wrecker. If he's playing they need to be wary.
We can hope that a healthy Akers and Whit makes a big difference.
But even if it does, we're going to need Goff to step up and play better too. I'm concerned about his performance without injury; I'm acutely concerned given the thumb injury.
