So there's been much discussion as to how well or not Wolford played and if he is as good, worse or better than Goff. But, McVay needs to make a decision on who plays this Saturday in a one game elimination playoff game. Goff has an injured thumb but according to McVay has looked good in practice. Wolford is healthy, talented and raw.
Now, my question is this if Goff is at 75 percent health and Wolford is 100 percent who plays? The question isn't really who is better. The question is who would be better for this particular game?
Also, another factor is that the Seahawks have played Goff many times and really know his tendencies. They have one game on film for Wolford. I think it's a tough decision myself. I can see it going either way. With Whit coming back maybe Goff is the better choice. It could be that the offensive game plan will inspire the decision. It could be the health of Akers cones into play. Of course, it's easy to pull for the kid. He's a very exciting player. But, I want to win. Who gives us the best chance?
