I suspect that McVay and Snead are looking at this beyond 1 game.
If Goff is fit, (and even the media that was at practice says he looks it), then to make the decision to start Wolford does to Goff what Pederson did to Wentz by starting Hurts.
That's fine if you are pretty well done with Wentz..... or Goff. Philly may well be over Wentz. I can't imagine the Rams are done with Goff.
So while the FO of course wants to beat Seattle and move on in the playoffs, they have to consider the longer term.
Of course, what happens if Goff looks like.....Goff 2020.... and they lose because of it? The pressure on the Rams to make a change at QB will be relentless.
