Cards were not even very competitive Sunday and Goff would have likely gashed them from the pocket and on some of those rollouts without Wolfords legs. I know that Wolford shows that he has that little extra pop for our stagnant offense adding running game intrigue but this was not Seattle we were playing or the Chiefs or Bucs and Goff has both history and ability to excell versus teams with dangerous QBs. I point this out because we cannot ignore Goffs record this year was enough for a return to playoffs. If we discount that then we also dismiss that Wolford won a critical game. I am not at all down on Wolford he fits McVay nicely the way we have played in recently begs for off script unscheduled ability. Wolfords gamesmanship has helped him succeed enough but he is also capable of 30 tds and 35 ints. That is just to perspective but what ever happens we don’t have to fret because Wolford is the easy to love underdog and I am high on that but For now I am hoping a healthy Goff (our embattled underdog) has chance to rewrite the news.
