Wolford's ball usually comes out quick and in a tight spiral and is good in the 30yd range. I just think that Wolford has a better arm than Keenum and guys like that...Wolford gets the ball there faster. imo
Wolford's scrambles will/should be a monstrous upgrade to Goff's. imo
Wolford is a better athlete but NOT overall passer than Goff. imo
It's the reading of defenses and the mental stuff that will be Wolford's downfall should he fail today. imo
But Wolford has a chance of being solid IF McVay helps him out with the playcalling. I hope McVay helps Wolford alot by designing solid but simple route combos to give Wolford easy throws. I think McVay will use Wolford's mobility in a HUGE way today...not much pocket passing and mostly boots off PA. McVay knows what Wolford can do and I think Wolford is more McVay's style of QB anyway - to tell ya the truth.
Of course we'd be better with Goff, but that's not happening today..
