First, yes I am miffed about that interception. Could see what QB 1 was "intuiting" to Woods. Break toward open ground, and I'll float over the top. Woods never got that "telegraph" and never truly broke hard to open territory. However......see below
Second, the kid threw some excellent stuff yesterday. There's a lot of derision on QB 1 work. But he started at least 5 times inside the 15. Some good balls to get us out of there. Gosh, the drop by Higbee was awful.
Third. Thought the lean towards the pass was not predicated on "looks." There were opportunities to use the ground. Would liked to have seen more runs.
Fourth. Magic handoff there to Kupp on the endaround. Always nice to see the camera guys fooled upstairs, too.
Fifth. I was wondering about that pass to Van Jefferson. It was definitely behind him. In front, perhaps that's a big play. In back, where it was, it's a tough ball that we see Coop and Woods pluck all too often. 5B. Are they running 9 routes? I dont' look at the all 22
