Only obvious that we all want to go deep into the playoffs... hopefully to the SB.... and also obvious is that we all have 'hope'... and I think 'hope' based on some fairly good reasoning. BUT...
I don't know... how many ways has this been said on this board? The "which team will show up?" I think what bother's me the most is that I do not think, (others will disagree), I have seen the Ram's play a single game this year in which they truly matched, and I think reasonable to say SHOULD have exceeded at least once or twice, what they are capable of... at least offensively.
I'm not sure anything would surprise me in the games we have left. Well, yes, one thing would... for us to trounce a team, play and score. To dominant? That wouldn't surprise me... and that does happen in low scoring games. To pull off something like we did with the Jets? Would not surprise me either.
So where does that leave me, personally? I think we have a good chance, that's where. I do not think we have a great chance. The SB is 5 games away... and the Ram's have at most only one game they can afford to crap away, if that.... that seems to me to be a bit much to ask of this year, as far as SB.
And you bet, stranger things have happened. - JamesJM
