Well, I see much more commitment to the RUN this season. McVay knows the Rams WIN in the playoffs if they can RUN the ball. Thus, he's getting Hendo/Akers a lot of carries and staying "committed" to get that running game developed and ready for playoff football.
That includes getting creative with the blocking schemes. Letting TE's get involved, pulling them and leading them up the hole. Even, lining up Everett at FB, then lead block on 3rd and 1's.
WR's motion, fake handoff, then they lead up the holes for the RB's.
Another thing, Goff under center. Short yardage QB sneaks. Goff takes it under center, not always in shotgun formation.
As a DC, this Ram Team creates a lot of issues, and a lot of headaches because they attack in "unconventional" ways.
