I know they're not popular around these parts, but I like how Aikman has admitted he grew up watching the Rams and was big fan, naming off some of the all time greats while he was at it.
In the Thursday night game, you could hear his expectations for the team and how excited he was about the defense. He can be critical of the Rams, but I think it comes from a place of emotional investment in the team. He has high expectations for this team: a Super Bowl trip. He sounded almost worried that the Rams might squander an opportunity with the defense they have.
I like it. Chris Meyers is also a self-identified Rams fan, but he screws up names and gets overly excited on routine plays or can be too subdued until like five seconds after a great play just occurred. Like he's on a delay lol.
As long as the Rams sweep the Seahawks, I don't care if Ethel Merman calls the games.
Yeah, I've been watching Naked Gun and Airplane lately. Don't actually ask me who Ethel Merman is.
I'll leave that to the big dawgs on here....
