Staley's mentor Vic Fangio, if Denver lets him go

December 13, 2020 11:36AM
It would be a quick ax after two seasons but it could happen. The Broncos went 7-9 under Fangio last year and are 4-8 now.

I do think Staley will get an NFLHead Coach offer and it will be difficult to turn down.

I think Aikman's comment during the Patriots game (paraphrasing): If the Rams don't a special year and by special I mean Super Bowl they will look back and will regret it. Aikman goes on to mention the defense. It sounded to me like he was talking as if Staley would be gone next year. My take on the comment is that Aikman thinks people will look back and say the Rams had McVay on offense and Staley on defense in 2020 that was a real opportunity to win a Superbowl which is rare.

Make this year count. Hopefully, the Rams soon will be 12-4 and knocking heavy hitter teams out of the playoffs.
