It's a Bizzaro World, Gator, which I'm guilty of dabbling in. It's like this:
"Shoot! The '9ers are going to score! Ok; run Mostert then!" Or if you have the 49ers defense and the Rams are playing them, you have to hope that either the Rams win 7-0 with a defensive TD so you still get 20 points for a shutout. If the Rams end up putting up points, now you've got to make those up at another position.
I try not to pick many Rams to avoid the dreaded 'Double Whammy' which would be your FF team losing and the Rams playing poorly. So if I'm playing someone who has Goff and he puts up 40 points, I'll probably lose in fantasy but the real Rams will likely prevail.
It keeps the universe in balance!
