The last 5-10 years when I have gone into Sports Bars and even at Fire Stations where I have worked, very few people are REALLY into the games. Everyone is just looking for stats and at Fantasy sheets. I took my Son to a Sports Bar last year. I watched the Rams game and he watched his Ravens. The place was PACKED! I mean SLAMMED! But out of all those people there were MAYBE 10 people actually watching the GAMES. And it was late in the season when teams are shooting for playoff spots. The early / mid 1990s was THE best time for Sports Bars, IMO.
