I support Goff but this article gave me more than I already knew. Love the fact that he watches so much film that he would lose sleep if he didn't watch it. My own see-it-with-my-own-eyes says that I was concerned when Goff got hit from the right tackle side, fumbling and the Dolphins returning it for a TD. How does he not see that, I thought. But the next day, R Wilson gets hit from the same right side while looking to his left, fumbling at their own 25 with a critical turnover. That made me feel a little bit better, He's not the only QB making bad plays. So that made me think that maybe defenses are having a say in the matter.
But Goff, McVay and O'Connell have to come up with solutions and then execute those solutions. I believe that Goff can improve and make a difference. Not in small part because Goff is coachable. He can get better, and he will. Starting with Thursday against the Cheatriots. If he doesn't succeed then, he will bounce back in the next game. I like it. He's my QB for the long term.
