To me the question is more how much will JG keep growing and developing. Not everyone believes he will, but I have not seen anything yet that makes me think he can't.

How about not only Brees, but Manning and Brady. And both of those guys threw 50+ TDs in a season.

So yeah, I don't buy that you have to be a great improvisor nowadays. When push comes to shove, all QBs need to make plays in the pocket. As long as there are 11 big guys on offense and defense, and you can still hit people, QBs who can't play well from the pocket won't make it in the long run.

I think its fair to say its not conclusive that Goff won't keep growing and developing. Maybe he will and maybe he won't, but its not conclusive yet.
