I remember so so many times watching Joe Montana and Paul Browns (Originator) /Bill Walshs West Coast Offense dink and dunk us and countless other Teams time and time again for forever down the field countless times it was torturous. Just when you thought you could get off the field the drive continued. They used to say Joe didnt have a arm but he surgically sliced your team up. Whats really ironic as sometimes it hits you again and you really realize it was John McVay (Seans Grampa) and Bill Walsh that knew that West Coast offense inside and out. The apple didnt fall far from the tree. I remember Sean talking about reading the Bill Walsh Book how to build a Champion. But yes Paul Brown was the originator and Bill Walsh learned from him as a assistant with the Bengals, he then brought it out to the west coast when the whiners hired him to be their HC, then it was called the West Coach Offense. Its also amazing how Bill Walsh wanted to be the Rams HC as he really complimented the Rams Org.
