I think Blythe is also gone so center is an option too. Then maybe a speed wr to replace reynolds/cooks.
I'm hoping for at least 2 high comp picks.
Right now, center may be at the top of the list. I seriously doubt they resign Blythe.
I've seen Rams fans on other boards posit that they could move Corbett to center and slide Evans in at guard but I'm skeptical of that since Corbett is doing so well where he is.
I have the needs list as: C, CB, Edge, ILB, speedy WR, DL. Not necessarily in this order but close. The first four can change positions.
A lot to unpack there, dz, so I’ll take them one at a time.
About Blythe. Yeah, I see Blythe 50-50 at best to be extended. But no way do I see a C drafted as high as our 2nd rounder. Maybe with our comp 3rd, and even then as developmental depth. Kromer might well like a player for starting C in ‘21 that’s already on the roster.
I, too, am now skeptical of moving Corbett over to C simply because he’s become a beastly RG. Any given game anymore he could be our highest rated OL player, even with a healthy Whit in there. Why mess with that?
As to needs priority? Here’s my top 3 and in order:
Edge
Edge (unless Floyd is somehow extended)
A tie between the following:
C
WR
DL
ILB
CB
After Edge, it would come down to who falls to us. So many players at those positions will likely be leaving and Snead likes to draft for one year ahead.
