yeah I hear you but when will he not have to get him into a rhythm? Why does he have to do that especially when other parts of the offense are fine. That is my concern
you do the quick passing, the rollouts and boots to counter teams with great pass rushes
but it’s seems like the Rams have to do that every week for Goff just to make sure he’s in a rhythm. it’s what you do with rookie QBs not 5 year veteran QBs
last time the Rams played the Niners the game plan was to attack the 49ers secondary because they were missing half of it and they have no pass rush (because Bosa and Ford are gone for the year). But despite that Goff struggled - even though the Rams ran the ball well and he had no pass rush to worry about
While I think the Rams need to play quick ball today. They aren’t playing the kind of defense that should require it ... and that does bother me.
Go back and look at other QBs against the Niners. They aren’t doing that and Fitzpatrick, Wilson, and Rodgers absolutely lit that secondary up
