im not sure I agree with Baltimore and Dobbins but we will never know. Baltimore had been very reluctant to give the ball to JK until last weekend. It just happens that Ingram has been totally ineffective this year. They also have Gus Edwards who has been getting more touches than anyone expected. Most people thought he would be an afterthought when they drafted JK, but that did not happen. He was their most trusted back until this past game....I watch all Raven games.
I hope you are right about Akers, I'm no expert, just has not impressed me much thus far, nor was there any buzz about him leading up to the draft. Some believe Rams hoped CEH would drop to us. I believe that...Akers was backup option. I think same happened the year we took Everett but hoped Evan Engram would fall. Thats how Snead operates the draft.
Queen actually fell much further than most people expected, and right into Baltimore's laps. Yes, linebacker was a need for them, and I am sure they always hoped this scenario played out, but they didn't reach, trade up, panic....just let the draft come to them. Thats how the pros do it.
