Haha...yeah saw that as soon as I posted this..... what a lame rule, should be automatically dead ball at spot of second throw unless it is intercepted
That would be inconsistent. I can see it being automatically dead, that makes the most sense to me, but then that should include an interception.
it's an easy fix, make it a loss of down penalty like grounding, so the def can accept the penalty and it would be 4th down.....but if they throw a pick or it is fumbled they can decline
Yeah, that would be better. Gaining 8 yards on an illegal play doesn't make any sense.
