But again there is a difference in subbing for the remainder of a game and being gameplanned for by a DC. They're gonna come after Boom hard and often, and Edwards too since he's playing next to him with the stunts and overloads. So not only does Boom need to play well but the two of them need to be on the same page.
Whit and Edwards were a machine together so I think there's gonna be some bumps in that road. Question is how big they are. And sometimes it takes a couple games or another defense to really blow up a guy in a certain way before teams focus in on his weaknesses so hopefully Boom plays well and/or they don't get after him that much and let him settle in a bit. But I remain concerned and hopefully folks will be giving me a hard time after the game when Boom looks great.
