Ramdude,
I appreciate your frustration, but IMHO firing Demoff you don’t approve of some/several of his moved is a bit of an over reaction.
Think the nfl is focusing on gaining younger viewers, not retaining older ones. It’s about future earning, i.e. growing the game.
Me, I love the helmets and like the uni’s. However, not a big fan of the bone on bone. Even though I don’t agree with all the Rams choice I like Demoff. Plus, creating a culture of firing people when you don’t agree is not a place I want to work or root for. Sorry, I do NOT want to turn into the Browns!
Over, IMHO, the buck stops at Silent Stan, whom I think it an excellent owner. He’s the anti Jerry Jones. He hires people and let’s them do their job. Overall, I’m very happy with Demoff, Snead & McVay. Plus, I’m always for trying to improve what you have over constant turnover.
No disrespect intended, Just my opinion
No disrespect taken BB. I appreciate your opinion. I would love to get into a good uni discussion with you but we know it would be deleted.
I guess I am turned off by how he trolled the fans and lied to us too. I know he did the same thing to the people in St. Louis as well. I think the St Louis people have bad feelings about him also.
Then of course there is the logo and redesign fiasco. It's one thing to go for a "younger" demographic but to lie to your established fan base and troll them too while knowing how passionate the older fans are about tradition? Not cool IMO.
Do what you gotta do to attract that younger demo without being a jerk to the rest would've been better. If he had done that, I still would've disliked the redesign and logo but would have respected him a bit more.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
