You said..."It's not just pressure. It's pressure combined with superior coverage. Which takes out the receivers btw." How about he learn to throw the ball away in those circumstances? I'm not for dumping everything on Goff, but I see what I see....a guy who still has issues with clock management, a guy who still holds the ball. I also see a guy who can throw perfect balls, do well out the a roll out/bootleg, and can do well in hurry up offense.
I see a guy who is a streak QB....he can come out and throw 12 passes in a row in 1 game....come out a game later and be way off the mark......I would like him to be more of a middle road type...not way up or way down
We had the ball at the 5 after a TO and we run...it goes no where and boom coach starts throwing..next play fumble returned for a TD....I put some of these places Goff is in by the stupid calls by this coach....Running the ball well...in a great spot....he was not throwing well from the get go of the game...started like 0 for 3-4....should have called runs down there.
Goff is what he is....but coach seems to think/see something else.....4/5 years in...can't feel heat, can't anticipate coverage, can't feel the clock time.....Works hard, no doubt, but he is what he is.....
They are not using him at his skills......hurry up, bootlegs.....they are not using those things enough.
