Goff is a California chill kid. He doesn’t play with a lot of urgency. He has a problem when he get rushed, he doesn’t react nearly fast enough. He even said that he has to be faster. Well, I’ll believe that when I see it cause its been 5 years and he still gets blown up way too easily, not reading the blitz.
He’s got arm talent, and he’s got good character. But not much else. He can’t run, he’s inconsistent with his accuracy, and he’s slow processing what happening on the field.
That doesn’t work in today’s NFL.
McVay has to protect him from anything difficult like he’s still a rookie QB.
Maybe if he had an elite RB, like he once had in Gurley, then Goff could win a SB, but if he's the focal point of the offense, hes not good enough.
